SRS Local Events Grant

These grants have been created to further local and national events that actively seek to stimulate, encourage and promote European rural social sciences.

The ESRS will make 2 grants available per year up to a maximum of €500 each to help cover the costs of seminars or small conferences organized by ESRS members in the field of European rural social science studies. Meetings must be involve at least two ESRS members and include members from at least two different countries.

Applications (in English) should be sent to the ESRS President (Prof Jo Little) by the 1st March 2012.

They should be sent electronically (j.k.little@exeter.ac.uk) and be no more than 3 pages long. Applications for funding should include a rationale for the event, reasons for which funding is sought and an itemized budget for expenditure of the grant. They should also identify any other sources of funding that have been acquired or sought for the event.
